All our surveys are conducted in compliance with HSG264 The Surveyors Guide.

Management Survey
A Management survey is the minimum requirement by law, this survey is non-intrusive and covers all accessible areas of a property, a management survey is the basis on which you can manage any asbestos-containing materials in the normal day-to-day running of the premises. Once the survey is complete you will be issued with an asbestos Management Survey Report, if any asbestos-containing materials are identified this report will detail the asbestos type, location, extent, and condition and will provide recommendations for the management or remedial action required.

Refurbishment/Demolition Survey
A refurbishment/demolition is required if the whole building or any specific part of the property is to be refurbished, remodelled or demolished. The purpose of this survey is to identify all asbestos-containing materials that may be affected by the works. The refurbishment/demolition survey is destructive in
nature and may include the removal of flooring materials and/or floorboards and breaking through walls and ceilings. Due to the destructive nature of the survey, the area should be vacated during the survey.

Re-Inspection Survey
The purpose of a re-inspection survey is to assess the condition of previously identified asbestos-containing materials within the premises and to ensure any previous recommendations have been actioned and check for any damage or deterioration to the asbestos-containing materials, the re-inspection survey is an integral part of an effective asbestos management plan. The re-inspection survey will report any changes to the condition of the asbestos-containing materials and if any asbestos remedial / removal works have taken place. It is recommended that a re-inspection survey is carried out on an annual basis, however, more frequent inspections may be deemed necessary for high-traffic areas and higher-risk materials.
